You know I have a thing for pom poms ... and it's not limited to pom pom fringe! Handmade pom poms are a great way to use up SCRAP YARN! I decided to hang mine from some fake branches I bought at Michael's a while back... I feared this would look cheesy but it's actually really cute! I like the spring colors and it adds a little pop to the mantle. If not convinced on my my, this morning someone special said "oh mommy, that's so bootiful!" Ok, it stays!
Making pom poms is the easiest thing ever. Gather your scraps and make away! I like to use the Clover Pom Pom Makers... and pom poms are cute to spruce up gift packages, attach to a card, or like my niece did - tie to a bobby pin for a cute hair accessory!
Ps, try using two colors in a pom pom!
