Scrapbuster No. 21: Chenille Potholder

We're having a BIG traffic day here at Sara vs. Sarah.  A lot of you saw Sara's Scrappy Shoelaces on One Pretty Thing.  We hope you take a minute to check us out and become a follower if you like what you see!  Thanks for coming by.

My scrapbuster today is a chenille potholder.  You basically layer 8 inch squares of fabric with some batting and quilt it with long, parallel lines.  When you're done with that, you slash the top layers of fabric and brush them to make faux chenille.  Then, bind it with some double fold bias tape and you have yourself a cool potholder.  There are lots of great tutorials out there like this one from Timber Hill Threads.
